Sometimes I can't believe we are a family of four BUT it is as if we have always been. It's as if there was never anything before these perfect men entered my life!
We have been so busy with travels, family times, work (both of us) and spending every moment we can outside playing/enjoying our beautiful surroundings.
I know I need to take time to write about all of our/ my experiences BUT Jr wants to go ride bikes sooo this will have to wait.
Until then, here are some photos we got back from the individual family photos at the Huffaker photo shoot. I love them and I am cherishing these so much bc it is representing this time in our lives. I am loving ever min of this busy, amazing life we get to live <3 <3 <3 I feel so blessed. I love our family and where we are at NOW, in this very moment.
thanks for reading and now go outside! It is an amazing day!

Logan Dallin Huffaker
SOOO I started "pre-labor" on Saturday the 14th.... We even took me into the hospital bc my contractions were 3 mins apart for over 3 hours but I wasn't dilating quick enough. I did go from a 1 to a 2 but I needed to be at a 3... We left the hospital and I was having these painful contractions until my inducement date (the 18th)..... Since the contractions never got closer than 5 to 10 mins apart, I knew I still wasn't in labor. Logan's due date was the 17th and my doctor only induces on Wednesdays... I had two options to get induced before I went over 2 weeks and they don't want you to go that long.... SO either the 18th or Christmas... SO we decided to go with the 18th :) my mom and my late uncles birthday
Let me just say, Id rather never get induced but my babies are huge and I went into labor on my own with Jameson so my doctor felt that my labor would be faster bc my body already knows and can do it.... Plus it was just the time of the year... I wanted him here by Christmas :) and with his size, I'm glad we did get induced.. the labor story below....
Well I went in around 6:30 and got set up by 7:30 in the room but didn't get my IV till after 8... They broke my water after 8.... Labor started without the pitocin ... so I got my epidural ASAP bc it was soooo painful... Well by 10 AM I was at a 10!!! It was time to push... I pushed 3 times, Literally and then our baby boy was here!!!!!!! I can't tell you why my labors are fast but I do feel blessed. I also feel blessed bc last time I ripped a ton plus an episotomy BUT this time I didn't. I did get an episiotomy but that's way better than both.... WAY less painful. I was up walking around a few hours after I had him and I didn't cry. I was so amazed.
He was 21 inches and 8 pds 11 ounces! Healthy and big, just the way we like them (I wouldn't mind them being a little smaller haha but I doubt that will happen)
SOOO his name was going to be Jaxson Dallin and we'd call him JD or Jax. Well it was kinda special bc my mom and late uncles initials together were JD but when he came out... He was a Logan in our eyes so we changed his name... He has more blondish hair, and it's curly. He and Jameson look like brothers but Logan has his own look and we felt he looked like a Logan.... He is a handsome little guy.
So far he has a good cry... when he cries its LOUD but he hardly ever cries... he eats loud too.. LOL he has a deep ish voice for a baby and he is just soooo chill. He was the chillest baby in my tummy and only ever moved with hiccups and he is the same right now :)
He sleeps and smiles a lot....he is a good eater. He is now a month old and over 10 pounds. That's a little smaller than Jameson. Jameson ate more than I produced though and this one just is having my milk (so far) lol. He latched really well and this is a lot easier than I could have ever imagined this being. It's still hard in the normal ways but I feel sooooo blessed to have these sweet boys that make my life so much better. I'm truly blessed to be their mother and learn from their sweet, loving spirits. They are such good, tender, happy boys that it helps me want to be better all around.
Oh Logan also is crazy funny bc he LOVES tummy time and has already rolled over.... Jameson was the same way and so we have to wedge things around him to stop him from rolling on his tummy at night. Its very scary when your almost 3 week old is on his tummy when you wake up in the morning and you know you put him on his back.
Jameson and Logan:
Jameson was not really sure about his brother for a little bit but now he loves him... he plays with him, helps me take care of him and is always getting things for him. When he is tired though, he just wants me to put Logan down and hold him SOOO all in all, Jameson has adjusted well and it seems like it'll just get easier from here on out. I'm so excited that I gave Jameson a best friend. Once Logan can play with Jr, I know they will be best friends and keep me on my toes <3 <3 <3
AND here are the photos! I'm sorry if this was boring... I'm in a hurry and just wanting to write this down before I forget the details (no sleep does that to you :P WORTH IT! lol)
| our nativity and below are the boys in their Christmas Eve pjs <3 |
New Years Eve celebrations
2 week check up... Logan was healthy and Jameson was super sick. I'll never forget my first time to the doctors with two kids. Lol

So Blessed
I feel like my life has been so blessed and I can contribute the majority of my blessings to my wonderful husband! He recently had a birthday and I was able to simi spoil him and of course celebrate him! He spoils and celebrates me and our son way more than we deserve and so once a year he has to allow the same for him ;)
Some of my blessings that are from my sweet husband
- our first born child, Jameson Robert. He is the sweetest blessing ever. He is smart, happy, sensitive, hilarious, energetic and all boy! He is a perfect mix of Zack and me! His best traits are from Zack, of course ;) lol
- the fun life we live! Zack is always thinking of ways to get us to have fun or to bring gifts of love home for us. He is constantly serving us through : school, work and then the texts/phone calls that come through out the day and not to mention the treats he brings us or the surprises he takes us on. He plans and thinks of showing us love constantly and that shows daily.
- our stress free life. He handles almost everything stressful and helps me focus and only see the great things happening in life. I can't even tell you how much of help that is.
- he encourages anything and everything I love to do or want to learn to do. He is such a support and such a good listener. He is always the best at giving gifts bc he has noticed more of what I want / would need than I have noticed.
- he helps out with Jameson ALWAYS, no questions asked. He just wants to be there and do everything for him when he gets home from his 12-14 hour days. He is such a help and support that of course I think I want 10 kids ;) bc my son is amazing and then my husband just takes over so I can have a break... even if I dont want a break! What a great dad/ husband huh?
AND many other ways but I know my emotional, mental, spiritual and physical self has been overly blessed by the man I was lucky enough to marry! I would love to have all boys if they end up half as amazing as my husband! So far, so good ;)
ANYWAYS, yall are probably sick of hearing how happy Zack makes me but I had to say that to lead to the ending of this pregnancy. I feel blessed to be able to get pregnant and carry these babes full term! That said, it's still really hard to be working from home, watching a toddler and being over 39 weeks pregnant during such a busy season (Christmas)! I can't imagine a better Christmas gift than this baby boy but I could imagine an easier time..... haha. Well this week, we have just been overly busy with work and Zack's birthday and Zack is finishing up his classes! This baby is due on Tuesday ... Even with some contractions I dont think he will come on his own! Jr was 10 days late..... so that shows how much hope I have that this one is coming! BUT bc of the time of the year and the fact that the last day to get induced before my two weeks over due would be Christmas (my doctor only induces on Wednesdays) .... We made the decision to get induced on the 18th. SOOOO this boy gets to join our family in less than 6 days!!!!!!! WAHOOO! I can't wait to meet you baby boy!
so the 18th is a special day and I sorta hope he waits to come so we can have him on that day. It's my moms birthday and her older brothers, Don. Don died when my mom was 10 and he was her best friend at the time..... Well my middle name was Dawn (after him but spelled differently for obvious reasons). And so how fun would it be if my mom got her new grandson on the same day of her birth! I think it would be amazing. Anyways, the 18th sounds like a good day... Plus, Zacks last final is the 17th lol, so maybe I should stop walking and doing things all together, huh? ;)
Since I last blogged
- My family came to visit and it was a blast! I was a little jealous of how much more time my brother and Zack spent together but I am 9 months pregnant, working and have Jameson to take care of so I couldnt be out till 5 AM with those crazies....
- We had a fun adventure wither friends and family.....We cut down our Christmas tree in a snow storm! It was a blast... Jr was freezing BUT loved every second of it... especially when he was on the 4wheeler
- We have Christmas almost completed! Christmas cards are ready and go out today! Our house is pretty much ready for baby and we're ready to head out anytime this baby chooses to join us!
- I'm sure more has happened but that's all I'm writing. I want to go play with my son now and enjoy ever second I get to be with him as the only child. I love him so much! I am excited and nervous for this new adventure we're about to embark on! Family of 4, here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 years of bliss
It's our anniversary and I feel so blessed that these three years have been so amazing and easy! Zack has taught me so much but most importantly he has loved and taken care of me and our son.
He is amazing. I never knew that a husband is always kind, loving and helpful. He has made parenthood and marriage seem so easy and amazingly happy that we are having another baby! I never wanted many kids and now I feel like I could have and would love to have a ton of them! Zack is an amazing help in every way and makes everyday happy and fun. I can always count on him making me laugh and bringing peace/ the spirit into out home. Anyways today was amazing and I'll write about our amazing weekend in park city later... I just wanted to quickly say HOW lucky I am to have Zack as my eternal companion and the father of our sons.

6 weeks left
6 weeks, give or take till we meet this mini Zack as I call him.... Jr had an obvious personality since day one. Very active, very fast, very awake and very curious.... He never stopped looking around and he was a happy, perfect baby. We were blessed so much with him... As he has gotten older, there are obvious Zack qualities and then even more Ashley qualities... Social, being the biggest one. He talks non-stop ;) like me and is just so smart, like Zack ;)
Anyways.... this kid is a 180 of a personality in my tummy so I'm guessing a 180 when he comes out... We'll see in 6 weeks ish! I can't wait to meet him. He is going to be the best little brother to Jr and Jr is so excited to be his perfect, helping big brother! Anyways here are some recent photos showing my belly better.... Yes I've grown over night and I'm still growing! I know, it just gets more uncomfortable from here on out but I'm trying to enjoy it bc I know I missed it a bit after I had Jr... (I didn't miss throwing up but I missed having him with me ALL the time..especially when they sleep... I am such a baby person) lol

we skipped Jrs nap to do photos... BAD idea lol! But the ones below sorta turned out ;) Also he just wanted to be with his cousin Lyam and didn't understand why we had to smile for the photos... BUT the above photos show better how big I've gotten and how I need to retire my none maternity pants :( Last time I wore them the entire time... this time I dont think I can anymore. I'm big folks but it's ok bc I LOVE my boys!!! <3
Can't even handle how much fun we're having!
Halloween is and has been one of my favorite holidays ever! I don't crave or really enjoy sweets very much. I wish it was because I was health conscious but it's not. I love Halloween for the fun costumes, parties and perfect weather!
We started the day off outside.... We were playing outside with the leaves, the rocks, picking apples and pears.... Hanging out with grandpa... Four Wheelers .... All the things Jr loves and then that brings us to
....Last night- Jameson had a BLAST! He is so much like me and I love watching him grow into himself. He was independently walking up to every house, saying trick or treat and thank you! He had to carry his bucket then entire night (super heavy) and use his flash light all by himself. We were a little slower than the group but I was just in love watching how fast he picked up trick or treating.
We later headed to Grandmas Spoke house/ Family party. It was a blast! Good food, good company and scaring everyone that came trick or treating always makes for fun times (laughing all night, seriously)! Jr and I got to decorate some pumpkin shaped cookies (delicious) and Zack got to watch some football, which ended our perfect October!
Here are some photos from yesterday- Sorry I don't have more... I need to upload them and also upload all the videos (primarily I took videos)... That I may share later, if y'all are lucky! :)

so blessed to live in this beautiful place!
Well I just want to end and say how thankful I am that we're in Utah with our kids. I don't know if we'll always be this lucky but Jr LOVES his cousins and grandparents/aunts/uncles.
now onto November - end of fall, our anniversary and thanksgiving with the Wicks <3 This month will be amazing! Next month we get to meet our little man.... We can't wait!

The things that make me very happy....
For one I wanted to write about how wonderful my husband has been! For these past few weeks it has been a non-stop party for me. I've had friends in town (two from England and a few from AZ) and I've been doing a lot of things with them <3 Zack works from 5-6 and sometimes 8 or 9... just bc he is full time work and school.... then he offers and watches Jameson so I can have time alone or with my friends... NOW folks, that is an AMAZING husband right there! It's truly been this way since the day we had Jr. In the hospital even, Zack's changing diapers to offering to feed, to waking up with him and trying to not let me do a single thing! Of course I did have my motherly responsibilities that he couldn't take but he would have if he could bc he loves to serve me and I couldn't be more lucky for that. I LOVE to serve him as well...when I can trick him into letting me ;) Anyways more than that, I'm so very happy bc of a few smaller things (that are HUGE to me) ....
- yesterday Zack coming home to me making dinner and he just puts on some holiday music for me (yes I LOVE my holiday music, even two months early) and dances, sings with me and Jr. While I cook, he starts the rice AND the dishes! What a great memory for me. Looking out the window to the sunsetting, lighting up the beautiful autumn leaves, that surround us and hearing my son singing and laughing with my handsome husband while preparing dinner will be something I wish could have lasted forever! These moments are not rare but something about yesterdays made me so so thankful for my husband, son and where we live. We really are blessed to have one another <3 Zack is perfect for me and if you knew him more than 4 years ago, then you know listening to Christmas music early (or at ALL) isn't something he likes to do but now it seems he loves to bc he loves me and when you love someone, you love to see them happy no matter what the cost. AKA I LOVE to fish/camp.... I really, really do but I dont think I would have LOVED it without Zack.
A few more things that make me happy
- Finally having this little break! After my friends sealing in SLC tomorrow, we are headed to the sand dunes!!!!! WAHOOO! I can't do a whole lot considering even 4wheeling gives me contractions but I do have 5 books I'm reading and a few more I'd like to start soooo this will give me time to read, relax and spend quality (no social media/ work) time with my husband, son and our family.
- being closer to having our little guy here! We can't wait to meet him! I have a feeling he is gonna be a lot like Zack and a little less hyper like me and Jr. <3
- Halloween being around the corner, You know the Huffakers are doing that haunted house again... It's gonna be cra, cra, crazy! (lol, yes I typed cra cra)
- Thanksgiving with MY family! They are coming to Utah bc I can't travel and they love me! I can tell they love me bc 10 hrs is a long drive and I just love them for it!
- Winter snowy horseback rides! Coming soon! I suspect by new years I'll be able to ride ;) I was riding 2 or 3 weeks after Jr!!! So so excited <3
And these are the things I / We've been up to! Well Zack's been hunting a lot but I wasn't doing that this year :) and of course we had our annual murder mystery halloween party. It was awesome! Thank to all yall that came! and I'm sure there is more but I have pregnancy brain and it's real folks! I really have a hard time remembering things!
I'll leave you with some photos :
